This notice describes how the personal data of users who visit and use the AnimalNews.tv website (the "Site") is processed.

2. Data processed during browsing
During normal browsing of the Site, the IT systems and services used for its operation may automatically acquire certain technical information relating to access.
This information may include, by way of example: IP address; date and time of the request; page or resource requested; browser type; operating system; technical information about the device; technical data relating to the connection and operation of the Site; any security and diagnostic logs.
This data is processed to the extent necessary to ensure the operation and security of the Site, prevent abuse and malfunctions, and enable technical and diagnostic activities.

3. Data provided via the contact form
AnimalNews.tv provides a form through which users can contact Elyte Productions.
Through the form, data such as: name; email address; any other contact details requested in the form; the content of the message; and further information voluntarily provided by the user may be collected.
This data is used exclusively to receive, manage and respond to the user's request and for any subsequent communications directly related to the request received.
The legal basis is the taking of pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject, where the request is of a commercial or professional nature, or the legitimate interest of the Controller in managing and responding to communications received.
Data provided via the form is not used for newsletters or unsolicited promotional communications, unless specific consent is subsequently obtained where required.
The user is invited not to include in the free-text field of the form personal information not necessary for handling their request, in particular data belonging to special categories under Art. 9 GDPR.
4. Nature of data provision
Providing the data marked as necessary in the contact form is required for Elyte Productions to receive and respond to the request.

5. YouTube video content
AnimalNews.tv may display video content hosted on the YouTube platform.
Depending on the technical way the player is loaded, viewing or interacting with such content may involve a connection to Google/YouTube services and the consequent transmission of technical information to that platform.

7. Purposes of processing
Personal data processed through AnimalNews.tv is used exclusively for purposes connected to: technical operation of the Site; system security and prevention of abusive use; management of requests received via the contact form; technical management of audiovisual content and services on the Site; compliance with legal obligations; assertion, exercise or defence of the Controller's rights.
AnimalNews.tv does not carry out profiling of users for its own advertising purposes through the Site, unless otherwise indicated and in compliance with applicable law.
8. Processing methods and security
Personal data is processed using IT and telematic tools according to principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, minimisation and storage limitation.
Elyte Productions adopts technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect personal data from unauthorised access, loss, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

Data collected via the contact form is retained for the time necessary to handle the request and any subsequent communications.
Where a contractual or commercial relationship arises from the request, the relevant data may be retained for the period necessary to perform the relationship and subsequently for the periods required by applicable law.
Technical and security data is retained for the period strictly necessary for the relevant purposes, subject to the need for further retention for the management of security incidents, investigations or legal obligations.

Personal data may be processed, to the extent necessary for their respective functions, by: authorised personnel and collaborators of Elyte Productions; hosting and IT infrastructure providers; providers used for the technical management of the Site; email service providers; providers involved in managing the contact form; consultants and professionals where necessary; public authorities where required by law.
Where required by law, providers processing personal data on behalf of Elyte Productions are appointed as processors under Art. 28 GDPR.
11. Transfers of data to third countries
The Site is hosted on a development and hosting platform (Base44) whose servers are currently located in the United States of America. As a result, personal data collected through the Site — including data provided via the contact form (name, email address, content of the message) and technical browsing data — is transferred to and processed at infrastructure located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), in a third country not covered by an adequacy decision of the European Union.
This transfer takes place in compliance with the conditions of the GDPR (Arts. 44 et seq.). Elyte Productions undertakes to ensure that the transfer complies with applicable law through the adoption of appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission (SCCs), the provider's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable, as well as additional technical and organisational measures aimed at protecting personal data.
Prior to carrying out the transfer, Elyte Productions assesses the level of protection ensured by the service provider, including through verification of the contractual conditions and notices made available by the provider.
Certain additional technology providers or third-party platforms used by the Site (for example, Google/YouTube and Meta/Facebook) may process data outside the European Economic Area; for such services, further information on international transfers is available in their respective privacy notices.
Users have the right to request further information regarding the transfers carried out by contacting Elyte Productions at the addresses indicated in the "Contact" section.
12. Communication and dissemination of data
Personal data collected via the contact form is not publicly disseminated.

Where and to the extent provided by the GDPR, the data subject may exercise their rights, including: obtaining confirmation as to whether personal data concerning them exists; accessing their personal data; requesting rectification of inaccurate data; requesting erasure of data; requesting restriction of processing; objecting to processing where provided; requesting data portability where applicable; withdrawing consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
